Trying to quit smoking is probably one of the toughest things to do in the world, and even though you may repeatedly try to convince yourself to choose electronic cigarettes in an effort to eventually get rid of the habit completely, if you are like most people, you probably do not know a lot about what electronic cigarettes are all about.
Vaping is not like smoking a traditional cigarette. Vaping is to inhale vapor from a personal vaporizer known in short hand by its initials P.V. This is commonly referred to as an e-cig or electronic cigarette and the term smoking does not apply because only vapor is produced, not smoke.
The term vape is used to describe the act of vaping, for instance someone might say, “I like to vape at home, after work to unwind.”
Actually, the amount of money you can save if you quit smoking depends on quite a few factors. So when people started using the “save money” reason for me to quit smoking, it just went in one ear and out the other.
Before you can say how much money you might save, you have to consider:Where you live. It might be cheaper down in the south than it is where you live. What brand of cigarettes you smoke. Most private label brands or “generics” are cheaper than name brands. But in recent years, some of the name brands have started to come down in price to compete with the generics, so the savings for quitting might differ. And if you “roll your own” using pure tobacco and empty filtered papers, you may only be spending about $0.75 per pack, again, depending on where you live.
Yes, smokers can quit by using electronic cigarettes, but the manufacturers of e-cigarettes aren’t legally allowed to make those claims because the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) hasn’t done any tests to validate the claim.
But all you have to do is hit some forums or blogs about electronic cigarettes and read some testimonials yourself.
This is a great review of the LOGIC vs Blu eCigarettes from PCMagazine. Everyone has their favorite choice of smoke-free electronic cigarette brands, so even though the Editor’s Choice is Blu, I still prefer my LOGIC eCigs for the same reasons as Samara Lynn states in her article below.
As I’ve mentioned in a few of my videos, I DO NOT recommend or really advocate refilling the cartridges of your LOGIC ecigs. You can buy prefilled cartridges with Zero nicotine!
Besides, the little green tips on the LOGIC ecigs come apart when you pry them out. That’s because you’re not supposed to be refilling them! Need a fix for that? Watch my other video: Replacement Tips for LOGIC Cartridges.
